International students can get a work permit which allows them to work part-time while they study in the UAE universities. As an international student who wishes to work while undergoing your degree program in any UAE university must be aware of some of the necessary steps to take
International students are allowed to work 15 hours/week and upto 40 hours/week in academic breaks. The work permit also allows the students to have just one job, that is, a student cannot hold two or three jobs at once.
Students earn 15-30 AED or 4 to 8 USD/ Hour depending on the job
Students usually can work in the university as admission counselor or assistant, Kindergarten teacher, English teaching, Driver , part time waiter/waitresses, sales promoter and more
Once you have accepted your Offer of Admission from your university, the university will require the following document to process your entry permit.

Scanned color passport copy - passport should have validity of 6 months when applying for a Student Visa.
Admission letter from a UAE university
Sponsor Bank statement

Upon receiving the above mentioned documents, The university will apply for Student entry permit and Student residence visa.
➖The student entry permit normally will be issued in 2 weeks and it is valid for 60 days, You can travel to UAE with the entry permit.
➖After arrival in UAE( Dubail) and within 48 hours, your entry permit and Passport must be submitted to the university and then to the immigration office.
➖You will be required to take medical test and biometrics in UAE before your student residence is issued (undertake a blood test and chest X-ray for HIV (AIDS), Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Tuberculosis (TB) and Leprosy. If results come back positive you will be deported; therefore it is advised to take a test in your home country before travelling)
➖Once your student visa permit process is done, normally the whole process may take upto 60 day your passport will be returned from Immigration with your Student Residences Visa. Following this, you will receive your Emirates ID card : a mandatory identity card for all residences living in the UAE.
➖Your student visa Residence is valid for 12 months and renewable each year for students who enroll on a full-time programme at a UAE University.
➖Residence student visa and Emirates ID application cost is about 1000 USD, the fee has to be paid to your university after receiving your acceptance letter and before traveling to UAE ( dubai )

The cost of living in Dubai is on a high side, since the city is very luxurious. Therefore as an international student who wants to travel to the UAE for study, you must put more consideration into your general living expenses such as accommodation and other expenses.
You can get quality accommodations with all essential amenities starting from $300 per month. while a Shared Accommodation are Up to $200 and Rental Apartments are $700 onwards.
You might need near 900 USD /month for living expenses eg. food, entertainment, transportation and books
United Arab Emirates (UAE) law requires all non-national students to obtain a ‘Student Entry Permit’, followed by a ‘Student Residence Visa’ for the duration of their studies.
